We have been celebrating birthdays at the Petroleum Club tonight. Walter has been here since Aug. 27 and will be going back to Virginia on Sept. 17. His birthday is Sept. 6 and mine Sept. 12. His sister, Nancy and brother-in-law, Paul took us out for dinner.
We have been watching "IKE". Aunt Billie called from Kerrville yesterday to wish me a happy birthday. She and Wanda McGrath were just waiting to go home.
Too bad your vacation was cut short.
