Ironmen are going to Germany

Hey Everyone-

Gabe and I are offical Ironmen 70.3! We completed the Longhorn Half Ironman, which is a 1.2mile swim, 56 mile bike ride, and 13.1 mile run on October 5th. We both finished under our goal of 8 hours-Gabe at 6hr16mins and me at 6hr24mins:) It is the longest race we have ever done and are very happy with the results-of course now doing a FULL IM sounds interesting(that is 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run).
So with that accomplished and our anniversary coming up, we decided to reward ourselves with Thanksgiving in Germany. We are flying out on November 21st and will be back on December 1st. We are both looking forward to it. Beer and sausage for 9 days sounds awesome!
That is all that is going on with us. Work is work. The cat is happy, fat and fluffy and the plants and fish are learning the theory of survival of the fittest first hand :)

the san angelo marathon sounds quite nice, except the accident. of course i will pick up your packet-i will drop it off at aunt bobby's thursday. i am looking forward to brunchy goodness. see you soon :)
